Grandma Cheats Death
Nancy developed sepsis and multiple organ failure and eventually became comatose in the hospital ICU. Her prognosis wasn't good. Diagnostic imaging revealed several lung masses, lesions on her liver and an obstructed bile duct. Her prayer team went to work. After she received a word of knowledge from the 700 club that her bile duct was healed, she had another round of tests done and learned that she was healed of all disease. Her doctor says her healing was a miracle from God.

Vision at The Gate
I'm on vacation and wanted to share an experience I had at the airport. As I arrived at the gate, my wife and I took a seat to wait for boarding, I saw a stewardess walking toward our gate. I closed my eyes. God showed me a vision of her walking and being transformed into someone younger and more beautiful as she continued walking. When it came time to board we got in line and migrated through the tunnel to the aircraft. As we arrived at the door of the plane, I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit hit me. I knew He wanted to do something on the flight. At cruising altitude, I beckoned the stewardess toward me and asked her name. I told her about the vision of her that I saw while waiting to board. I prophesied from it that she was being transformed into someone more beautiful and lovely in the eyes of God. She said she was in love with the Lord and we talked about her relationship with God for a while. I told her about the healing I’ve seen and asked if she had anything she needed to be healed of. She told us she recently finished treatment for breast cancer and had some continuing lymph node problems, so we prayed for healing of it. She asked me to pray for her co-worker for some of her problems. I gave her my contact info, hopefully we'll hear back from her soon.

Healing Amputees - Part 1
Skeptics often ask, "Why doesn't God heal amputees?" I have two responses to this question:
1) He does. I'll be posting one of those stories as soon as I get the rest of the information I requested.
2) Why does He need to heal them physically? What does a healed amputee prove about God that another miracle doesn't? If an amputee isn't healed, does it mean God despises them? Does it mean amputees are somehow inferior? The internet has a number of blogs hosted by skeptics. They hold out a challenge to God and we foolish believers - 'Show me evidence of an amputee who was healed and I'll believe in your god'. The challenge seems to imply that God isn't who we say He is, because He isn't powerful enough or compassionate enough to heal amputees.

Healing comes in many forms. Some healing happens in the body, some in the soul, some in the spirit. We tend to focus on the physical body and perhaps give physical healing too much emphasis. I know of many people with perfect physical bodies who are horribly wounded, emotionally or spiritually. They've been cut off from hope, life and love. Many of them don't have as single healthy relationship. The demonic voices in their heads are their only source of companionship. Cut off from the life of God, you might call them spiritual amputees.
Which is the most important kind of health to have?
Does a man need to have a perfectly functioning body to live a life that honors God or is worth living?
Staff Sergeant Heath Calhoun is one guy who is getting along well with a few body parts missing. His life is full of adventure, purpose and honor. He's accomplished a lot of things I'll never do. I'm inspired by his story.

Two Year Old Miracle Boy
Two year old Mason Ikirt developed hemolytic uremic syndrome after an episode of pneumonia, which led to kidney and respiratory failure. As his condition stabilized, he was taken to the operating room for surgery where he went into cardiac arrest. His doctors gave him little hope for survival. But in the months ahead, he not only survived but made a speedy recovery. In the words of his doctors, his recovery was nothing short of a miracle.

Fired For Faith
A Christian worker in London is paying a heavy price for speaking freely about faith in the workplace. Government worker Duke Amachree was suspended from his job after telling a terminally ill client to "put her faith in God" for her health.
The woman filed a complaint, leading the Wandsworth Borough Council of London's decision to suspend Amachree after nearly 18 years on the job. "My ID was removed from me and I was escorted out of the premises," he recalled. "I didn't know what to make of it. I was speechless." Amachree said following his suspension, he was told not to mention religion at work or to "ever talk about God" and say "God bless." Three months later, he was fired. His case is under review at the present time.

Praying For the Captain
She was a frequent flyer; a lonely soul with nothing better to do than spend her days in the emergency room watching TV, talking to nurses and doctors. They do the usual work up and send her home after finding nothing...again.
The captain had a Texas sized grin as we walked toward each other in the alley. We avoided the dog poop and carefully approached the scene. "Where ya been buddy - you don't write, you don't call..." It had been a few weeks since I saw Ron, (not his real name) one of my favorite engine officers. I love his attitude and sense of humor. He filled me in on our patient; a LOL (little old lady) with a benign problem that arose in 1972. She spent the night in the ER . They sent her home and and told her to call back if she wasn't feeling better in 12 hours. That was one hour ago.
Ron asked what I'd been up to. I told him I'd been blogging. "Oh, you're one of those guys, huh?" I filled him in on what my blog is about and shared a few healing stories. We soon found ourselves surrounded by the rest of his crew. We talked as my partner got the patient on the gurney. We bid farewell and headed for the hospital, avoiding the dog poop on our way out. We arrived and introduced her to the ER staff. Before we had her moved to the hospital bed, she blurted out, "Where's the remote control? I want to watch TV." My inner man rolled his eyes. I prayed silently for the nurses.
The nurse prophesied as we departed...."You'll be back shortly to take her home, right?"
Ten hours later the end of shift was in sight - less than an hour to go.
Confidence was high.
Dispatch sent us to a familiar address...back to the scene of the crime with the same engine company. We parked at the end of the alley, got out and stepped around the hardened dog poop. A firefighter gave us the universal sign that we were being canceled; repeatedly slashing his hand across his throat. We met the engine company in a alley and talked about healing. I told them a few more stories. To my surprise, the captain asked me to pray for healing for his ribs which had been in a lot of pain. Placing my hand on his ribs and commanding healing, something inside me knew these crazy things happen for some very cool reasons.
Ron, you owe us a testimony if you get healed.

The Science of Praying in Tongues
Is it nonsense, or God speaking through us? There's been a lot of argument and little scientific research on praying in tongues. Until now. Diagnostic imaging reveals there's something interesting going on when people pray in tongues. Have a look.

Wal - Mart Miracles
God is using divine nobodies to bring healing and love to mundane chores like shopping at Wal-Mart. I love looking for people who need healing while I'm shopping. Just prepare your family if they're with you when you do this. There's a trend I've noticed that involves healing at Wal-Mart. A lot of testimonies are coming from this chain of stores. While people protest Wal-Mart's corporate policies, and management is irritated at young zealots, Jesus is healing people like crazy in their midst. What else can you say but Yay God!

Inoperable Brain Tumor Healed
This is the story of a man who was healed of an inoperable brain tumor in Montreal, Canada in 2009. The testimony below was written by the patient's son. The radiology images below show before and after films. The tumor is evident near the arrow in the left image. There is no sign of it in the image taken a few months later on the right.
“My father who was 54 years old and the associate pastor of my church in Montreal, was diagnosed with a brain tumor in April 2009. The doctors said they couldn’t operate due to the fact that the tumor had spread over the brain and the risk of brain damage or death was too great. That is when our church began to pray and stand on God’s word, Mark 9:23 “all things are possible to him who believes.”
In the month of September 2009 the doctors finally agreed to perform another brain scan it would be one week after you (Michael Koulianos) came to preach at our church. My father also testified that after you prayed for him he felt as though his head was on fire and could actually smell something burning in his head. We believe that was the power of God burning up the rest of that tumor.
The next week when my father went to the hospital for his scheduled brain scan it took the hospital almost 2 weeks before they gave us the results. The reason it took so long was because the tumor was completely gone and the doctor couldn’t believe it so he sent the results to 4 other doctors to get their opinion on the results and they all conclude that the tumor is completely gone. Now the hospital wants to write a story about my father’s situation and his personal doctor told him that it was a miracle.
I thank God for what he has done in my father’s life.”
Thanks, Pastor Daniel DiPaolo

Praying Nurse Returns to Work
Prayer in the workplace is a controversial issue. Some governments and employers are becoming less tolerant of it. The UK is one place that seems unfriendly toward those who pray on the job. Caroline Petrie is a nurse who lives in the UK. She was suspended from her job after she offered to pray for a patient. After a much publicized series of meetings, she has returned to work. Mrs Petrie’s employers, North Somerset Primary Care Trust, invited her back after widespread media coverage of her story. But she delayed her return because she said she wanted to be clear about the terms of the offer.
The Trust has since acknowledged she was acting in her patient’s “best interests” and Mrs Petrie says she can still pray for patients if she asks them first “whether they have any spiritual needs”.
Mrs Petrie, a committed Christian and married mother of two, was suspended because bosses said she broke “equality and diversity” rules by offering to pray for a patient. The nurse from Weston-super-Mare is said to be “relieved” the situation has been resolved and looking forward to going back to work.
She said: “I feel really happy to be going back to work. In a way it was good to be able to talk things through with my bosses and now we all know where we stand I think it will be easier.”
She added: “I can still pray for my patients as long as I keep within the boundaries of the care plan, and ask them first whether they have any spiritual needs.”
The Christian Legal Centre (CLC), which backed Mrs Petrie, welcomed the decision to reinstate her. A spokesman for the CLC said: “The decision highlights the importance of being able to take personal faith into the workplace rather than leave it at the door.” The NHS trust which investigated Mrs Petrie said it recognised she was acting in the “best interests” of her patients.
In an announcement regarding Mrs Petrie’s reinstatement earlier this month, the Trust stated: “It is acceptable to offer spiritual support as part of care when the patient asks for it. “But for nurses whose principal role is giving nursing care, the initiative lies with the patient and not with the nurse. “Nurses like Caroline do not have to set aside their faith, but personal beliefs and practices should be secondary to the needs and beliefs of the patient and the requirements of professional practice.”
