This isn't a comment related to this post but saw you were taking a break from fb when I decided to finally ask you this.......How are you able to avoid being reprimanded for "prostytalizing" (sp) or receiving complaints from the public to your employer for be so "out there" sharing the Gospel? I am an RN in the ER and I share as much as I can but I don't feel I have the freedom to ask to pray for someone. How do you do what you do? Thanks! Teresa
Teresa - you've asked a really good question and you're not the only one asking. I just sent a message to a Facebook friend this morning on the same issue. He's an RN and wanted to know how I approach people, how my employer sees it and what kind of results I see.
I'm very encouraged to see people in medicine asking these questions. You are the audience I hope to reach. I have a lot to share with you.
I'll post a few messages in the coming weeks that will address these issues.
I had a nice encounter this week in the office of an orthopaedic doctor, where a patient was healed. I think God may be opening a door for me to do more things with this team of doctors. Time will tell.
If you can't wait for the messages to be posted, send me an email and I'll be happy to give you more details and answer any questions you have.
