ICU Being Healed

I'd be lying if I said I didn't love my job. I know you're busy, so let me just share a quick testimony. The woman below is smiling because she no longer has a torn rotator cuff. I bet you'll never guess how it happened.

Last week we transported a ventilator dependent patient who has Lou Gehrig's disease. Just like my friend Scott Buzzell, (I haven't forgot about you, Scott) our patient was diagnosed years ago and is now paralyzed except for his facial muscles. The woman holding the balloon was the respiratory therapist on duty when we picked him up in the ICU. 

As we got our patient ready, I noticed her rubbing her right shoulder as if it hurt. I asked what was wrong. She told me she tore her rotator cuff last year when a nurse jerked the code cart away from her. I asked if she wanted to be healed. She did, so I placed my hand on her shoulder and commanded it to be healed. 

At the nurses station in front of everyone. Then I asked if she felt anything. 

"It just feels a little warm."

"Cool - that's the power of God healing you." 

I prayed a second time and asked her to try to raise her arm up. With a torn rotator cuff, it's extremely painful to raise your arm above the height of your shoulder. She tried, but it hurt. I told her it might take a few minutes for the healing to completely manifest.

We continued getting the patient ready. A few minutes later she returned. Raising her arm a little higher than before, she said, "Look...what I can do". She was overjoyed. "I haven't been able to do this in over a year."

The patient had his own ventilator, which we were taking with us in addition to our own gear. We needed help getting it all down to the ambulance. The RT volunteered to escort us. On the way to the ambulance she told the patient's wife that I healed her shoulder. I asked if she was sure that she was healed. She said she was. We loaded the patient and equipment and I pulled out my phone to get a picture. She gave me permission to post it. I gave her a card and a hug then we left.

A Day In The Life....

I came to Phoenix, Arizona a few weeks ago to take a paramedic test. On Sunday morning I was sitting in the hotel lobby with my computer, checking Facebook and having coffee.

I noticed there were a lot of teenage girls in the lobby wearing softball uniforms. It turns out there was a tournament in town.

Sitting at the table next to me were a woman and her teenage daughter, who had a uniform on. I heard the girl mention to her mother that she was having a lot of shoulder pain. I know, I'm a terrible busybody. I just want to know everyone's business.

I turned toward the girl and and asked if she wanted to be healed. She smiled and asked how that would happen. I told her I pray with a lot of people who are healed of different medical problems.

She said, "sure!"

I asked some basic questions; how long she had the pain, how bad it was on a 1 - 10 scale & checked her range of motion. Then I placed my hand on her shoulder and commanded pain and inflammation to leave and for ligaments. muscles, bones, tendons and nerves to be healed.

I asked if she felt anything different. She said her shoulder felt warm, but there was still some pain. So I placed my hand on her shoulder again and thanked God for the healing then commanded healing a second time & asked what she felt.

She said the heat was more intense and the pain was almost gone. She was surprised at how quickly she had been healed.

I talked with her and her mother for about 20 minutes. I shared some God stories & showed them my healing blog on my computer then told them if they wanted to learn more about healing they should check it out. The girl's mother happens to be a paramedic. She's seen people healed in her church, but wanted to know why some people lose their healing.

I taught them what I knew about spiritual battles and healing and that if the pain came back, not to receive it, to stand on her healing and remember the enemy might try to convince her she wasn't healed.

What I didn't know was that at the next table there was another teenage girl who had a friend with an injured shoulder. As I got up to leave, 5 girls, all wearing uniforms approached me and asked if I could get their friend healed. I asked if they'd ever seen a miracle. They all said, 'no'.

I looked around and it seemed everyone in the lobby including the staff behind the desk were looking on in anticipation as I explained what was going to happen.

I asked the usual questions - she'd injured her shoulder a few years ago and it never healed, so she lives with the pain. I placed my hand on her shoulder and commanded it to be healed and asked the Holy Spirit to bring his presence and power upon her then asked if she felt anything.

"What do you mean?"

"Do you feel any different from how you felt a few minutes ago?"

She said, "Well... I feel really warm and kind of tingly all over."

"That's the power of God healing you."

I prayed a second time and asked the Holy Spirit to bring more of His power upon her then asked what she felt.

"Now my shoulder feels a lot better and I'm getting really hot....like all over." She began to giggle. It was obvious she was happy to feel God's presence touching her as she was being healed. Her friends looked on in amazement.

I spent a few minutes explaining that anyone who is a disciple of Jesus can heal people like this and taught about the spiritual battles involved in healing and told her what to do if the symptoms came back. I told them to friend me on Facebook or visit my blog if they wanted to know more about healing and the works of the Holy Spirit.

Before I left, I prayed with one more person; an older man who just had hip replacement surgery and a hernia operation what wasn't healing very well. He was actually the first person I noticed that morning who might need healing. He walked into the lobby using a cane.

As I was writing this story for a Facebook post, another woman and 3 friends approached me and asked if I was the one who healed the girls this morning. I said I was and spent the next 30 minutes praying with her for fibromyalgia, gluten intolerance and a few other conditions. As I prayed, she felt the power of God touch her and she began to cry. I shared with her some of the things I shared with the girls.

This was just the beginning of an amazing day with Jesus. After praying for these people I went back to my room to have breakfast with my wife and tell her what had happened.

We planned to look at homes in the Phoenix area and decided to check out the home show at the convention center. Before we got in the front door, we prayed with a woman who had back pain. A short time later, we prayed with and talked to a wonderful man who had a torn rotator cuff. He was very interested in hearing about what God was doing through us in healing.

On the flight home, we talked with the woman in the seat next to us about healing for at least an hour. She had so many questions.

After we landed in Seattle, just before midnight, we picked up our car and drove to a gas station & talked with a man we saw at the airport in Phoenix, 3 hours earlier.

The interesting thing about this man was that when I first saw him in the airport, I sensed a peacefulness and confidence about him that no one else had. Our conversation eventually turned to the subject of healing. His wife has multiple sclerosis. I gave him a card to the website and told him to e-mail me if he wanted us to pray for her.

On the drive home, I marveled at God's wisdom in setting up so many divine appointments. He wants to touch others through every one of us. I hope you this message inspires you to touch someone with His love today.

WEWS News Report on Dr Nemeh's Healing Ministry

Dr. Issam Nemeh is an anesthesiologist and cardiologist. He's also a man of faith who has seen thousands of people miraculously healed over the last 10 years. WEWS news in Cleveland Ohio interviewed some of the people who were healed, including a physician healed of a frozen shoulder, a woman healed of multiple sclerosis and a special young woman with incredible hope for her future, thanks to Dr. Nemeh and God's healing power.

Healing The Wrong Rotator Cuff

One of the hazards of surgery is accidentally removing the wrong body part. There are thousands of cases of "medical misadventures" every year; patients who have the wrong kidney removed, the wrong leg amputated or just about any other mistake you can think of. Patients are never happy about it.

Is it possible to accidentally heal the wrong body part?

And if you did, how would the patient react?

Today I prayed with a sweet elderly woman who was admitted for nausea and back pain. During her stay she developed short pauses in her heart rhythm.

It was decided that she was at risk for complete heart block, so her doctor arranged to have her transferred to a larger hospital where she would have a pacemaker implanted.

She was the sweetest little old lady. I told her I'd adopt her as my grandmother if she wanted another grandson. She didn't want anyone to make a fuss over her and smiled about everything. During the transport I put the blood pressure cuff on her left arm. She asked me to be careful with her arm because she had a torn rotator cuff in her left shoulder.

Complex Rotator Cuff Tear

Because her arm was too small for a regular cuff, I gently wrapped the pediatric cuff around her upper arm and ask if she wanted to be healed. I told her I see a lot of people healed in the ambulance and shared a few stories. She was delighted to have me pray for her.

As she talked about Jesus and the things he'd done in her life, I gently touched her left shoulder and commanded pain and inflammation to leave then unclean spirits to leave then commanded the muscles, ligaments, tendons, bones and nerves to be healed.

I don't like methods very much, but this is one that I routinely use for healing orthopedic injuries. I rarely deviate from it, unless the Holy Spirit shows me something different. Most of the people I pray for with sprains, strains, tears and fractures are healed this way.

I asked the Holy Spirit to come with his power and presence and prayed over her shoulder three times. I also commanded her heart to be healed. After each time, I asked if she felt anything or if she could raise her arm. She didn't feel anything and couldn’t lift her arm when I was done. I'll admit, I was a bit puzzled. I really expected her to be healed.

We continued the transport and I did my charting. Ten minutes later, just before we arrived at the destination hospital, she raised her right arm in surprise and said, “I can’t believe it. My shoulder is healed.”

I was confused, so I asked what she meant.

What she didn’t tell me was that her right shoulder also had a torn rotator cuff. She had the same limited range of motion on the right as she did on the left. Her right hand is her dominant hand; it's the one she really needed to have healed. She was overjoyed that her right shoulder was healed and didn’t care that the left one wasn't. She was praising Jesus as we wheeled her into the hospital.

We took her to the cath lab and transferred her to the bed. I gave report. Yes, I told them she was healed on the way. The gals in the cath lab have been hearing the stories about healing. Maybe one day soon they'll have stories to share with me.

I suppose it's possible that her other shoulder may have been healed as well. She might have noticed that ten minutes after we left. We'll never know for sure.

If you pray for one of your patients and accidentally heal the 'wrong' part, you're not likely to hear a complaint. Patients are generally grateful for anything miraculous.

New Wine Healing

My wife and I spent a romantic weekend alone to celebrate our anniversary. Jesus went along and made our vacation nicer than we expected. One morning we were at a shop tasting the new vintage. We struck up a conversation with the woman behind the counter who poured the wine samples. The subject was the miraculous healing we've seen lately. I asked if she had any chronic pain. She said , "no....well, except for my shoulder. I can't raise right my arm up very high without it hurting right on top of my shoulder." I had her demonstrate how far she could raise her arm and told her to stop when it began to hurt. She raised it almost exactly 90 degrees, straight out from her body.

Having seen this before I believe she had a torn rotator cuff. The classic sign is when you can't raise your arm up higher than 90 degrees without pain at the top of the shoulder. It usually hurts to extend the arm backward as well. I asked if she'd had an MRI, but she said she'd never had one.

I asked if she wanted to be healed and explained that we wanted to pray for her. She agreed. It went very quickly. I didn't see anything in the spirit as my eyes were closed, so I opened them and commanded pain and inflammation to leave. I commanded healing of all tendons, muscles and ligaments. I asked if she felt anything and she said, 'no'.

I said, "now I want you to do something. I want you to raise your right arm up as high as you can." (I raised mine to show her how I wanted her to do it.) Her arm went all the way up until it extended straight above her head. She had no pain. She was completely healed.

We stayed for about 30 minutes and shared a little with her about some of our experiences with God and healing. We talked about wine and bought a bottle to take home with us. This was just one of many people we saw healed on our weekend getaway. Stay tuned for more healing stories in the coming days.

Torn Rotator Cuff - Two Options

Warning - the first video shows a surgical procedure. The surgeon is shown cutting into the patient with a scalpel and the patient bleeds. This video may be too graphic for some viewers.

If you have a doctor tell you that you have a torn rotator cuff. There are two options for repairing it.

Option one: Surgery.
In the first video, we'll learn how the problem is assessed and treated with arthroscopic surgery.

Option two: Divine healing.
In the second video, we'll hear the testimony of a man healed of a torn rotator cuff at the Firestorm Conference in 2009.







His doctor told John that he needed surgery on his left shoulder for a rotator cuff. He experienced pain in this shoulder for 8 months and couldn't sleep on that side. At the Firestorm Conference, healing was released and John could lift up his arm part way without pain. When he went home that night before bed, all the pain was completely gone. He is still doing well today.

Joan Hunter Teaching on Healing The Sick

Joan Hunter is a second generation healer. Her parents Frances and Charles Hunter brought her up in a home where supernatural healing was normal. She has written several books on healing. One is called Power To Heal, another is Healing the Whole Man. She has her own channel on XPmedia with videos on healing that can be found here.

Below are two videos in which she demonstrates and teaches on healing. The first video is from a service in Magnolia, Texas in October of 2007. People are healed of numerous traumatic injuries. If you want to heal the sick, but have little experience - Joan is an excellent role model to follow.





The second video is from a healing service in Morrilton, Arkansas also from October, 2007. I apologize for the poor quality of this video. In this service, people young and old are healed of many different conditions.

Healing at 35,000 feet

I'm Jim Rogers, Associate Pastor at Bridge Way Church, Denver, USA. Our church has a passion to see the Kingdom of God ministered by everyday saints to our city and the nations. We are part of the relational affiliation of churches called Global Legacy.

In January 2008, I was flying home from Europe after ministering in Africa at Leaders' Conferences for the release of Kingdom healing and the Father's love. Little did I know that God was wanting to show me that the power of the Kingdom was coming home to the US in new ways and that he intended to heal many on the airplane.

We were about an hour into the air when the stewardesses gave us drinks. I was drinking Diet Coke and wearing a white shirt when accidentally the stewardess bumped my arm and pop went everywhere. My shirt was stained and I felt some frustration. But I immediately felt the presence of God come on me and I knew I was not to get angry. The stewardess helped as best she could clean up the mess. She was very surprised I didn't lose it. I realize now that the enemy was trying to stop what God had in mind.

I looked across the aisle and saw a lady squirming in her seat. I wondered what her problem was. The Lord told me she had hurt her back two weeks earlier and He wanted me to pray for her. I was tired and just wanted to read my book and watch a movie, so I initially told the Lord "No."

Isn't it funny ~ God often wants to use us when we least feel like it? But, God wouldn't let me go. After quite a few exchanges with the Lord I finally said, "OK fine, Lord, I will pray for her."

I leaned across the aisle and asked the lady if she had hurt her back two weeks earlier. That got her attention and she asked how I knew that. I explained that the Lord had told me, and I also told her about my recent travels in Africa. Then I asked if I could pray for her. She said, "Yes." Then I asked if I could lay my hand on her shoulder, she looked at me and said, "Oh, you mean now?" I told her I didn't believe God wanted her in pain for the next 8 hours.

As I prayed for her, the Holy Spirit fell on her and she fell out of her seat and landed on the floor of the aisle. The stewardess came around the corner greatly concerned and asked if we needed a doctor. I was trying to explain what had happened, that God was ministering to her, and that the lady was fine.

As we talked, the lady came out of the Spirit. The stewardess asked if she was ok. The lady said, "Yes I'm fine and, hey, my back doesn't hurt." I started to explain about the lady's back when she cut me off. She told the stewardess all about how she hurt her back on ice two weeks earlier and that this pastor prayed for her and she was totally healed. Caught off guard and aware God was present, the stewardess said she had hurt her knee 4 weeks ago and was in constant pain. She asked if I would pray for her. I said yes. Then she got a real serious look and asked if she would fall down. I said I didn't know. I prayed for her also and God healed her knee on the spot.

As I got up to go back to my seat, there were three people lined up in the aisle asking for prayer. Apparently others had noticed what was going on! I felt the Lord urging me to continue. As I started to pray for the first lady, I suddenly heard over the intercom the stewardess that I had prayed for saying that there was a pastor onboard who had been in Africa praying for healing, and that when he prayed for her and the woman with the bad back both had been healed. She said: "If anyone needs healing they should come to the galley between coach and first class and he would pray for them."

I thought to myself, here we go”! Then a large gentle-man came up to me. He was from England. He asked if he could catch for me. I thought, Thank You Lord, at least there is someone else here who knows what is going on. For the next two hours we had a healing service. At one point the catcher came to me and said, "You need to slow down, I am running out of places to put people." I looked in the galley and saw people lying everywhere.

We had 5 salvations during our time, including one young man from Saudi Arabia. He was coming to the US for surgery on his torn rotator cuff. He also had other damage to his shoulder. God healed him and I told him it was Jesus who had touched him. He said, "I know Jesus."

I said to him, "Yes, you know who He is, but you need to know Him as the Saviour." As we talked he accepted the Lord. One of his traveling companions was a lady who came to me and said she was a Christian and would see that he got into a church.

The people who didn't come forward for prayer were wide-eyed and looking over their seats throughout the cabin to see what was going on. When all was finished, I sat down and I picked up my book and laughed to myself. The book was ‘Face to Face with God,’ by Bill Johnson. I thought to myself, God certainly does have a sense of humour for this indeed was a Bill Johnson moment ~ everyday saints doing the stuff!!

Praise God for His wonderful love and desire to use any one of us in His service!
