Mobile Alabama Healing Miracle - Paralytic Walks

This miracle happened at the Bay of the Holy Spirit Revival in Mobile Alabama on August 27, 2010. Many have known Bishop Levy Knox and his wife Delia for years. Delia was injured in a car accident on Christmas Day, 1987, and was paralyzed from the waist down. She has had no use of her legs for 23 years. Until now. Just a Little Drunk - But God Loves Him

Not Drunk as You Suppose

My patient was a middle aged man who lived in a house that reeked of garbage, beer and cigarette smoke. This morning it had one more odor; partly digested blood. There's nothing I like better that the smell of blood that's been vomited after being in the stomach for a while. He got up around three AM and began drinking. A short while later he began vomiting blood. His medical history was significant for emphysema, liver failure and alcohol dependence. To make it worse, the alcohol had eroded either his esophagus or stomach, until blood vessels tore open and began to bleed. My new friend was a mess.

We loaded him in the ambulance and began transport. I tried to make small talk but he had a grumpy disposition and was in a lot of pain. Most of his comments were profanities. I really felt badly for him. I wanted to see God touch him in some way and maybe even heal him. In my spirit, I cried out for mercy and compassion.

But I spoke not a word of it.

During the trip to the hospital he shoots me a look of amazement and suddenly says, "I feel really %$#@ weird." I asked what he meant by "weird".

He said, "I feel really high, like I'm stoned. But I never do drugs and it's not the booze. This is really %$#@ weird!" As I watched, he began to giggle and smirk in the most amusing way. I dropped him off at the hospital without elaborating on what I'm sharing with you.

I'm a little embarrassed to discuss what I think happened to him.

I'm a recovering pharisee. This is my treatment program. After God knocked the atheist out of me, he had to deliver me from a religious mindset that was offended by people getting drunk in the spirit. I have to admit, I'm still a little uncomfortable at times. The night before all this transpired some of my more charismatic friends (OK, hooligans) came to my house and God proceeded to get us whacked in the Holy Ghost. People were laughing and falling on floor in the joy of the Lord. It was a great time and I'll always remember that night fondly. But when my patient began to get giddy and happy, I realized it was God giving him a dose of the new wine.

Where do I go with this and what does it mean?

I think it's safe to say that God loves everyone. Even mean old drunks. He loves us all and He wants us to be filled with life, health and joy. And He's willing to go to extreme measures to do it...even getting someone drunk in the spirit in the back of an ambulance.

The eternal One heard an unspoken plea that mercy and joy be extended to a miserable man. And He gladly granted the request.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

New Wine Healing

My wife and I spent a romantic weekend alone to celebrate our anniversary. Jesus went along and made our vacation nicer than we expected. One morning we were at a shop tasting the new vintage. We struck up a conversation with the woman behind the counter who poured the wine samples. The subject was the miraculous healing we've seen lately. I asked if she had any chronic pain. She said , "no....well, except for my shoulder. I can't raise right my arm up very high without it hurting right on top of my shoulder." I had her demonstrate how far she could raise her arm and told her to stop when it began to hurt. She raised it almost exactly 90 degrees, straight out from her body.

Having seen this before I believe she had a torn rotator cuff. The classic sign is when you can't raise your arm up higher than 90 degrees without pain at the top of the shoulder. It usually hurts to extend the arm backward as well. I asked if she'd had an MRI, but she said she'd never had one.

I asked if she wanted to be healed and explained that we wanted to pray for her. She agreed. It went very quickly. I didn't see anything in the spirit as my eyes were closed, so I opened them and commanded pain and inflammation to leave. I commanded healing of all tendons, muscles and ligaments. I asked if she felt anything and she said, 'no'.

I said, "now I want you to do something. I want you to raise your right arm up as high as you can." (I raised mine to show her how I wanted her to do it.) Her arm went all the way up until it extended straight above her head. She had no pain. She was completely healed.

We stayed for about 30 minutes and shared a little with her about some of our experiences with God and healing. We talked about wine and bought a bottle to take home with us. This was just one of many people we saw healed on our weekend getaway. Stay tuned for more healing stories in the coming days.

Woman Raised From The Dead On The Road

Jon, a young man from Orange County, CA, shared this testimony with us recently:

Jon was driving on the freeway on Father’s Day with his cousin from Chicago, who had prayed the night before that God would use him. They were driving to Jon’s church on Sunday morning. There was a lot of traffic, and he saw two policemen zoom by on his right. There was a big accident. One car was on fire on the shoulder, its front smashed in. The other car also had a smashed front. Two guys were giving CPR to a woman on the ground, her boyfriend and someone else. The cops were already there, but the paramedics weren’t there yet. Jon and his cousin somehow were able to lay hands on her. As Jon was taking her pulse, she died in front of him. So he and his cousin started praying in tongues. Jon saw her spirit and an angel and demon fighting over it. God showed him that her soul was on the line, so Jon was contending for her. Twenty minutes later, she was alive! The policemen kept trying to get him to move away, but he wouldn’t. He kept contending for her soul.

After, the boyfriend hugged them and said, “God is so good.” He gave them his phone number. Her family are all going to go back to church now.

She had broken her C2 vertebra. She’s in the hospital now, so they went to see her. They say sang over her “God heals me, too” to the tune of “God is So Good.”

Muslim Sheik Healed of HIV

Mohammed Amen, a teacher of Islam in Ethiopia, was healed of HIV after meeting Jesus in a vision. He is now an evangelist to his people.

An Uncomfortable Healing Testimony

This testimony came from a friend a few days ago. For the sake of privacy, his name is being omitted.


For a couple of weeks, I had a problem when I visited the men’s room: every time I used the toilet paper, it came away with blood on it. I said to myself “No big deal, it’s just a little bit of blood. It’ll go away.”


But it didn’t go away, and soon it was not “a little bit” of blood, but a vivid pool of blood (mixed in with other things) left in the toilet when I was through, and it took extra toilet paper to mop up the blood. One night, I spent much of the night in the men’s room, making substantial hourly deposits of diarrhea and blood. I lost about 3 pounds that night.


After one particularly bad episode shortly before dawn, I stumbled back to bed and determined to try to change my thoughts. Instead of continuing to bemoan the (very) unpleasant circumstances, I tried to look at the situation from heaven’s perspective. I began by repenting for the foolish belief that I needed somebody else to pray for me and accepted the responsibility for praying for myself. I turned my attention toward heaven, and settled my spirit with Holy Spirit. It’s a nice place.


In that settled place, I brought up my physical issue, and in a few minutes, he showed me a portion of his grace that he said would fit my need. So I accepted that bit of grace, and as an act of faith, I applied it to my colon (all this happened as I watched it, inside my head; how do you describe that?). As I applied it, I felt something change: a place inside my physical body where there had been a pain shifted into an itch, but there was no real way to measure a change, since I was pretty empty by this point.


When the morning arrived, I was surprised to discover that I had reason to visit the men’s room, and the results had no blood and no diarrhea, and it hasn’t come back. I was still dehydrated from the night’s adventures, but that was easily addressed with several glasses of water. I’ve decided I like having God heal me.
